DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

Level One:

These classes are open to students of all levels and experience, providing a well-rounded class, ideal for those in search of a somewhat gentler session. If you are new to yoga, are returning to your practice after a break, or have an injury or condition requiring extra care, this is the class for you. Postures are designed to create a familiar and balanced physical routine. Relaxation and breathing techniques are introduced to reduce stress and restore energy.

Level Two:

Students who have attended at least one term of Level 1 classes, or who have other yoga experience should consider this level. Classes include more challenging postures, including inversions (headstand, handstand, etc.) and some of the more difficult backbends.

Pregnancy Yoga:

A must for all expectant mums! Learn yoga postures and breathing techniques that support pregnancy, manage labour and ease delivery. Based largely on how Lucy had to modify her own yoga practice during pregnancy, childbirth and post-partum recovery, classes will include plenty of discussion about how you and your baby are developing, as well as giving mums-to-be the chance to meet others in the area who are in the same boat!
